Holy Week Services

April 5th - April 12th

Palm Sunday, April 5th will include a processional into the Sanctuary as the Choir leads us in the traditional hymn, “All Glory, Laud, and Honor”.  The service will be uniquely designed since that Sunday – as a first Sunday of the month - we’ll celebrate Communion.

Maundy Thursday, April 9th. In John; 13:34 Jesus says to his disciples, “A New Commandment I give you; that you love one another” as they share the Passover Meal.  On Maundy Thursday we share in the Lord’s Supper – in a most profound way that emphasizes the crucifixion in a very palpable way.

Good Friday, April 10th. We’ll celebrate Good Friday with a Tenebrae service or “Service of Darkness”.  This service’s traditions go back to the twelfth century.  It is the most scriptural service of the year.

Easter Sunday, April 12th. We celebrate the risen Christ.
